we strive to be a positive, fun community where yixing creators are free to run with their inspiration from our china sheep~

mod sea 🌊 has been a yixing stan for 8 years now and is constantly in awe of his work ethic, talent, lovable personality, and beauty. they put yixing in pretty much every fic they write, and are always willing to yell about his newest song or instagram post. ^^

faq!

what do you mean by yixing as a main character?
yixing has to be a central part of your work. whether that means he's in a romance, you're writing from his POV, or he's the catalyst for plot, he has to be important in some way!
do i have to write from yixing's POV?
absolutely not! we welcome any and all POVs, as long as yixing is a main character. :)
do i have to follow the round theme? i don't get the name.
there isn't really a theme! each round is named after a yixing song. you can take the song as inspiration, or you can completely ignore it. anything goes here!
i don't like the prompts in the archive. can i self-prompt?
absolutely! there's a dedicated section in our claiming form for self-prompts.
can i stay anonymous after reveals?
of course. just let us know during submissions via email or dm!
i need an extension/have to drop out. is that okay?
yes. absolutely. feel free to reach out anytime during the round and let us know. there are no hard feelings at all!

  • all fics must have yixing as a main character.

  • the only banned topics for this fest are bestiality and wyf. all other content is permitted. please use tags and ao3 ratings as necessary.

  • no word count limit. be free.

  • you may submit multiple fics each round, but we ask that you complete one before beginning another.

  • please remain anonymous until reveals, but feel free to talk about participating as much as you want!

  • work submitted for this fest must be new. however, it does not have to be a standalone, and crossposting is permitted after reveals.

  • ABSOLUTELY NO PLAGIARISM OR USE OF AI.
